Founded in 2016, Forward Thinking Consulting was formed to assist clients with their critical business information systems functions. This includes ensuring the proper outcomes are achieved by selecting, implementing, and maintaining solutions geared for the client. Realizing the “one size fits all” model is not appropriate for everyone, we tailor our approach on a client-by-client basis. We apply the appropriate processes and methodologies thanks to our significant experience within environments that range from enterprise to mid-level organizations. Dominic Del Balso - Founder
Dominic is a driven information technology leader with experience in large, complex technical environments. He takes pride in his ability to deliver on technologies to increase business value, navigate complex technical environments, and communicate effectively with business people as well as technologists. He has the ability to successfully combine comprehensive business experience with a very strong technical background.
Prior to forming Forward Thinking Consulting, Dominic held numerous senior-level leadership positions within the enterprise and systems integrator verticals. His career has seen the design and architecture of major financial networks, the creation of high-performing teams, and the cross-platform integration of technologies to form a solid information systems foundation. He has built data centers from the ground up as well as led highly complex integrations across the globe. Dominic has a strong business finance background combined with extensive technical expertise as he hold the Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification.
Forward Thinking Consulting provides Dominic and his team the platform to take this vast experience and partner with clients to achieve their goals. With vast experience comes the ability to provide value in many ways. This may be as a Virtual CIO or IT Director, as an architect of a large scope infrastructure redesign, as a critical player on mergers and acquisitions, or to aid in the development of emerging leaders.
